Our goal is to provide continuation of care to all of our clients. It is in the best interest for their development and/or progress, while taking into consideration the guidance of local and federal health officials. We are currently providing various options for patients to receive therapy including clinic-based, Telehealth, and E-Visits. It is important to continue therapy in any form for continued development, routine, acute needs, and post-surgical gains.
Telehealth is a web-based platform to access therapy. This will allow our staff to provide therapy online via live, face-to-face video conferencing. Telehealth sessions will be very similar to your traditional sessions and can be accessed anywhere internet service is available. Therapy is so much more than hands-on; this will give the patient and therapist the opportunity to build on education and continue with exercises while implementing the therapist-taught methods in an in-home setting. The therapist will use objects naturally found in your home or will provide any necessary and practical equipment prior to beginning Telehealth therapy sessions.
In order to maintain our healthy environment, any patient that misses therapy due to their own illness or that of someone with whom they reside with, will not be able to return to clinic-based therapy until infected has been symptom free for 24 hours without medication. Those diagnosed with COVID-19 or living with someone who has confirmed case of COVID-19 will not be able to return to clinic-based therapy for 14 days and per CDC protocol of negative testing. Telehealth will still be an option as long as the patient is feeling well enough to continue.
We are currently accepting new patients. Please contact our Patient Care Coordinators to schedule an appointment today!
